Saadani National Park is unique. Fronted by deserted white sands facing out across the Zanzibar channel to the famous island archipelago, it contains a rich mix of wildlife across its rolling landscape. Elephants often invade the coconut palms along the beachfront, bulldozing them in search of the succulent pickings on top. The boat safari is a real prize, revealing wonderful birdlife, crocs, hippos and an array of primates down the Wami River.
