The Remote Selous Safari
Maasai culture and stunning wildlife in a World Heritage site
You will see: African hunting dogs, game drives, boat safari, hippo, crocs, birdlife, foot safari, Maasai village, local people...
Despite being the continent's largest game reserve, Selous welcomes a surprisingly small number of visitors. A designated UNESCO World Heritage Site the size of Switzerland, it possesses a large and diverse amount of wildlife and is an important refuge for elephants, buffalo, wild dogs, hippo, crocodiles, birdlife and some of the country's last remaining black rhinos. You'll also get to visit local Maasai villages and learn about their traditional culture.
