Selous - wild dogs

Selous Game Reserve is famed for their healthy African Hunting Dog population. These dogs are one of the most endangered mammals in the world. They have suffered from habitat loss & human conflict across Africa, but have a haven here in Selous. These highly social animals, with very strong social bonds are almost never seen alone. Very unusually for a carnivore; once their pups can eat solids they feed first from a kill.
