Tent With a View Safari Lodge
The Tent With a View Safari Lodge is situated north of Dar es Salaam on the Mkwaja coastline. It lies just beyond the boundary of the Saadani National Park, with indigenous bush to one side and a beautiful white sandy beach to the other. The lodge offers ten luxury tented bandas, eight raised on stilts and two at beach level. The rooms have en-suite bathrooms and spacious balconies, fitted with hammocks which overlook the deep blue Indian Ocean.

Each room is individually designed and has a different Saadani-based theme. The bar and restaurant area is also on stilts overlooking the sea, and is spacious and well-designed. Owing to its location, seafood is a specialty, freshly caught and cooked, and the wine list is extensive. Potential activities include walking safaris, birdwatching by canoe, and game drives; or you can simply lounge on the beach.
