A Tent With a View
A beautiful, boutique hotel on the North Eastern tip of Zanzibar.
About The Zanzibari hotel
The first thing that hits you about The Zanzibari
is the tranquility. The hotel is small with just fifteen rooms but sits on a
large plot so even when the hotel is full, it never feels that way with
everyone having plenty of space to lie reading in hammocks, by the pool, on a
sun lounger on the beach under the shade or walking around the gardens.
If you’re out for the day, it’s lovely to return to a place of calmness and beauty with a team who cannot do enough to make your stay even more special. It was our goal to show people Zanzibar and it’s culture through the hotel so a trip walking up to the local town of Nungwi with one of our managers is a lovely thing to do as he will show you behind the scenes into the lives of those who inhabit the island.
The hotel is well-known for its delicious 4 course evening meals making a half board stay extra special. Sip delicious cocktails before dinner in the fantastic Dhow bar built out of an actual sea-faring vessel. The atmosphere is relaxed, warm & friendly and a place where you can kick off your flip-flops and dine in bare feet should you wish.
With plenty of excursions on offer to suit all tastes from historical Stone Town tours to exotic spice tours to sunset dhow cruises and superb diving, you will never tire of this place.

full day out to the UNESCO world-heritage site of Stone Town is well worth the
visit. Zanzibar’s capital is a fascinating
melting pot of cultures with Arab & Indian at it’s heart. The tour includes return transfers from the
hotel plus a guided tour of the main points of interest from the Old Slave Market
to the Old Fort, House of Wonders and the People’s Palace Museum. Find a nice place for lunch and after, get
lost in the narrow alley ways whilst doing a little bartering in the myriad of
shops that line the little streets.
is famous as the Indian Ocean spice island exporting across he world. This fabulous excursion can be taken
independently or attached on to a Stone Town visit. You’ll be guided around a spice farm and

walking tour with some lunch thrown in cooked in spices picked that morning.
be picked up from the hotel and driven to the start point for the Dhow (local
fishing boat). This is perhaps one of the most romantic things to do whilst in
Zanzibar. The picture postcard image
that crosses one’s mind when thinking about Zanzibar are large white sails
dotting the Indian Ocean against a clear blue sky. Sitting on board looking
back at the island and hugging the coastline is a lovely way to watch the
sunset. There is even the option to
snorkel off the boat at dusk before sundowners back on deck.
