On arrival at Kilimanjaro international airport, you’ll be met and transferred to Honey Badger Lodge on the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro in rural Moshi. Relax and overnight.

After breakfast, drive to the Western Usambara Mountains for an afternoon bird walk. Overnight at Lawns Hotel in Lushoto.

Enjoy bird walks in the Western Usambara Mountains. Overnight Lawns Hotel, Lushoto.

This morning, drive to the Eastern Usambara Mountains. Take an afternoon guided walk in search of the endemic Amani sunbird amongst other stunning mountain species. Dinner and overnight Amani Forest Camp.

Take a morning bird walk. After brunch, leave for Saadani National Park, arriving at the lovely Simply Saadani Camp. Dinner and overnight.

There are unescorted bird trails available to explore in the morning. Leave after late breakfast for a thrilling boat safari on the Wami River and game drive back to the camp.

Start the day on a guided bird walk. After lunch, head out for an afternoon game drive across the park.

After breakfast, drive to Udzungwa Mountains National Park for an afternoon bird walk. Dinner and overnight Udzungwa Forest Camp.

Enjoy guided bird walks in Udzungwa national park which boasts of more than 400 bird species. Dinner and overnight Udzungwa Forest Camp.

Today, drive to Nyerere National Park, stopping at Kibungo Forest for a two-hour bird walk. Dinner and overnight at Sable Mountain Lodge.

Head out for a full day game drive with a boat safari on Lake Tagalala. Enjoy a packed lunch amongst the hippo pods, crocs and stunning birdlife.

Transfer to Matambwe airstrip for flight to Dar es Salaam for onward connections.
