Drive to Mwanza in the morning to connect with a flight to Dar es Salaam and onward to the famous spice island of Zanzibar. Meet your driver at Zanzibar airport and transfer to UNESCO world heritage site, Stone Town. Self-explore the narrow alleyways of the old town in the late afternoon and immerse yourself in the local culture and history of this fascinating town. Overnight at centrally-located Maru Maru hotel with lovely roof-top restaurant and pool.

After a leisurely breakfast, transfer to the north part of the island to Nungwi where The Zanzibari boutique hotel is located. The hotel is close to the Mnemba atoll, famous for its diving. Settle into the hotel this afternoon and explore the beach.
