Saadani national park safari
DAY 01
Arrive
at Zanzibar international airport and meet one of the Tent with a view team who
will transfer you to your flight to Saadani National Park. It takes just 20
minutes to arrive at Saadani airstrip where you’ll be picked up and enjoy your
first game drive to Simply Saadani camp.

DAY 02
Today
is all about relaxation. Enjoy
the huge camp grounds, swim in the warm Indian ocean, walk the deserted white
sand beach, explore colour-coded nature trails around the camp, enjoy a local
canoe ride along the Mafui creek, or walk down to the wildlife research centre
to learn about the camp’s conservation projects from collaring elephant and
zebra to protecting green sea turtles along the Saadani coastline.
Game drive & boat safari
DAY 03
This
morning head down to the Wami river for a fabulous boat safari amongst large
hippo pods and crocs. Watch what comes down to the river to drink from your
boat vantage point. After, game drive
through the park discovering plenty of giraffe, zebra and great elephant herds
who particularly enjoy to gather on the edge of the salt flats unique to this
coastal park.

DAY 04
It’s
time to say goodbye to Simply Saadani Camp and transfer through the park to the
airstrip to connect with a flight to Zanzibar. On arrival, transfer by
road to Nungwi village in the north part of the island arriving at the lovely
Zanzibari boutique hotel. Dinner and overnight.

DAY 05-08
Relax
at The Zanzibari boutique hotel. You can opt to go on a number of excursions
from the hotel (extra cost) including a sunset cruise, visit to historical
stone town, snorkelling trip & diving, other watersports activities and a
guided tour of the nearby fishing village of Nungwi with the “man who knows everybody!”.
