Arrival to zanzibar

01

On arrival, you will be met by A Tent With A View representative and transferred to Maru Maru, a lovely hotel in Stone Town. Relax for the rest of the afternoon or self-explore the narrow alleyways of the old city.

02

This morning, head out on foot with your guide for an historical walking tour of Stone Town taking in this melting pot of Indian, Arab and African culture, wander through narrow alleyways and marvel at colourful bazaars and pass beautiful and intricately carved traditional wooden doors of local houses and mosques. The remaining afternoon is at leisure.

03

After a leisurely breakfast, transfer to Zanzibar airport for your flight to Saadani National Park. It takes 20 minutes to arrive at Saadani airstrip where you’ll be picked up and head straight to the Wami River for a thrilling boat safari. Enjoy your lunch on the boat amongst the hippos and game drive. Dinner and overnight at Simply Saadani camp.

Today, relax at the camp, swim in the ocean, walk the deserted beach, explore the colour-coded nature trails around the camp, enjoy a local canoe ride along the Mafui creek, or walk down to the wildlife research centre to learn about the camp’s conservation projects.

Depart after an early breakfast by car to the beautiful Nyerere national park (formerly Selous game reserve) arriving at Sable Mountain Lodge in the late afternoon.

Today, leave the lodge and head for a fantastic game drive in this amazing national park full of wildlife and few visitors around. You can spend the whole day enjoying the game and not see another safari vehicle around. Enjoy your lunch at Nyamiruba Camp located on the stunning location with a great view of the lake. After a rest, head for a boat safari on lake Tagalala full of crocs, hippos and beautiful birdlife. Return to the Nyamiruba camp at dusk.

The camp at Nyamiruba is set in a stunning position close to much of the very best game viewing the park has to offer. A short game drive away is Lake Tagalala where the stunning early morning light can be enjoyed by boat amongst the hippos and crocs. Selous Nyerere holds one of the best wild dog populations in Africa and today’s afternoon game drive will offer another chance to find them.

Fly from Selous to Mwanza via Dar es Salaam. Meet your guide at Mwanza airport and transfer to Malaika Beach resort for overnight.

This morning after leisurely breakfast transfer by road for about 2 hours to beautiful Little Okavango Camp located on the floodplains of Lake Victoria.
Travel through the unusual city of Mwanza known as the “Rock City”, due to its huge boulders scattered across the wider landscape. Arrive at the intimate Little Okavango Camp in time for lunch and in the late afternoon, enjoy a gentle canoe ride.

10

This morning, explore the fishing village of Mwaburugu along the Lake Victoria coastline. You will leave the camp by vehicle and return by motor-boat, stopping for a delightful brunch at the Little Okavango viewing tower. After lunch and a rest, enjoy a guided bird walk on the camp's grounds or a bike ride through the open bush and village farms between the Serengeti boundary and the lake.

After a leisurely breakfast, leave the camp and continue your Tanzania safari by game drive vehicle into famous Serengeti reaching the award-winning Bush Rover Migration Camp later that day.

Today you’ll wake up right in the heart of wildlife action and spend the day enjoying thrilling safaris in this game rich area of Serengeti. Marvel at the greatest safari spectacle in the world - the annual wildebeest migration. Return to camp after your game drive, relax in the lovely mess tent or order a G&T on the balcony of your Bush Rover suite and take in the surroundings before heading to the campfire for a sundowner and delicious dinner prepared by your private chef.

This morning, transfer to airstrip for your flight to Manyara Airstrip, meet your guide and car and drive to the beautiful Tarangire national park, known for its fabulous elephant herds and tree climbing lions. Dinner and overnight at Oliver’s Camp.

Enjoy a morning game drive, then drive to Arusha ending at Katambuga House.
